Belleville police are looking for a man after a woman was injured after being hit on the head with a pipe early Wednesday.
Police responded to Station Street just after 4 a.m. to find a woman being treated for a head injury by Hastings-Quinte paramedics.
She was taken to hospital for further treatment.
A search of the area was unsuccessful. Police are looking for a middle aged man with a medium build, about 5′ 7″ tall. He was wearing a plaid shirt and grey pants.
