Belleville firefighters kept a garage fire from destroying a nearby house on Harmony Road late Monday afternoon.
Crews from Stations 3 and 4 responded to a property at 574 Harmony Road near Harmony Public School to find a detached garage on fire with flames spreading into a large storage trailer filled with wood and furniture.
While the garage and trailer were destroyed, only the exterior of the house was damaged.
There were no injuries.
An investigation into a cause continues.
