FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DONOR RECOGNITION AT TRENTON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
TRENTON ON May18, 2021: Today, the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation released their Annual Donor Appreciation video at tmhfoundation.com and on their Facebook page to recognize their generous donors and gratefully acknowledge their support this past year. Featured on the video are Dr. Colin McPherson, Quinte Health Care Chief of Staff, new CEO Stacy Daub and Chair of the QHC Board David MacKinnon and Chair of the TMHF Board Darrell Smith. The Foundation is very thankful for their donor’s support of Trenton Memorial Hospital and pleased that they share their vision of providing the highest quality of medical care and treatment to those in need, close to home. Now in the 2nd year of the COVID–19 pandemic, these donations are valued more than ever before. The TMHF donor recognition program enables the Foundation to honour all those individuals, corporations, service clubs, community organizations and philanthropic foundations who make monetary and/or gift in kind donations to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation. This is the 2nd year in a row that this recognition is being done virtually, due to the COVID–19 Pandemic. The video is also available on their TMHF You Tube channel. This year, they are honouring 175 donors who are having their names placed on the Donor Wall either for the first time, or who are achieving a new level of giving. The Donor Wall is prominently featured in the day surgery waiting area at Trenton Memorial Hospital. “We are overwhelmed by the generosity shown to us from our community, especially this year, with all the extra expenses incurred by the pandemic many of which aren’t covered by the government.”, said Wendy Warner, TMHF Executive Director. “While we miss the opportunity to interact with and thank our donors in person, we are still very thrilled to be able to celebrate their commitment and dedication in this virtual format.”, she said. Donors help the Foundation fill the gap between Operational Funding and Capital Equipment needs. If you would like to donate, please visit www.tmhfoundation.com or call 613–392–2540 Ext. 5401
