Update: According to the OPP there is now one lane re-opened while debris is cleaned from the incident involving two transport trucks east of County Road 6 in Loyalist Township
Emergency crews have been busy on Highway 401 in the Odessa area today.
One lane of the westbound Highway 401 near the Odessa exit remains closed following an overnight tractor trailer fire.
Lennox and Addington OPP say emergency crews were called to a transport on fire around 2 a.m.
The transport was hauling vehicles.
No one was injured.
Just after 6 a.m., a westbound transport truck collided with the rear of another transport truck in the westbound lanes east of County Road 6 in Loyalist Township.
One driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The westbound lanes remain closed in that area while the OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) team continues its work at the scene.
