Kingston Police actively seeking woman involved in stabbing

At approximately 10:15 a.m., Kingston Police were dispatched to the apartment building at 37 Cassidy St in relation to a stabbing. Upon arriving on scene an adult male victim was located with serious stab wounds and later transported to hospital. From the initial investigation it was determined the person responsible for the stabbing was Laura Judge, a local 40–year–old woman and that she had fled the area on foot. Uniform Patrol members, the Emergency Response Unit and Criminal Investigations detectives are all actively involved. The Canine Unit is also attending to attempt a track of Laura Judge and her last possible direction.She is currently being sought for the offence of attempted murder. Until further information is obtained, Kingston Police are assuming Laura Judge to be armed and dangerous. Community members are asked to avoid the area and any nearby residents are asked to secure their doors and windows until further updates can be provided. If Judge is believed to be seen please do not approach her and call Kingston Police at 911. Laura Judge is described as 5’6”, 150 pounds, fair complexion and believed to have a shaved head or short brown hair. Last known clothing description is that she is wearing a dark tank top and black track pants with one leg possibly rolled up to her knee.
