CFB Trenton was front and centre on the COVID-19 national spotlight this week.
A CC-150 Polair aircraft left 8 Wing Tuesday bound for New Delhi India, to help in the fight against the pandemic.
India is now seeing a massive outbreak of the virus, and countries around the world are trying to help out.
Between Tuesday’s flight, and one on May 5, CFB Trenton has lifted 350 medical ventilators, and 25,000 vials of Remdesivir, an antiviral medication.
The federal government is also delivering $10 million to the Indian Red Cross.
It is expected to arrive sometime on Thursday.
