Quinte News is providing an update to the numerous alleged Jason Momoa sightings around the Bay of Quinte region.
There is a Momoa movie, but no Jason Momoa.
Publicist Lisa Shamata spoke to Quinte News about the situation in Prince Edward County.
“We can confirm that there are scenes being shot for the movie Slumberland, however Jason Momoa is not in them. In fact he was never here, and not needed for the 2nd unit filming.”
Shamata says they are shooting scenes in The County at the airstrip, but she is asking locals hoping to get a glimpse of the area to be careful.
“We are asking for the safety of local residents and our film crew to avoid the area.”
Rumours started to spread like wildfire over the weekend that Momoa was staying at a Belleville hotel, that he was spotted shooting scenes in Madoc, and even seen surfing in Lake Ontario.
Shamata says he is not in the area, however filming will continue on the site in The County through the week.
