Public consultation is open on the Wellington Secondary Plan.
The county is listening to what people have to say on the subject of preferred land uses and development in the village of Wellington.
In September of 2020 the municipality enacted the Interim Control By-Law which is used to freeze development into unserviced areas of Wellington for one year in order to facilitate a review of the secondary plan.
The county is hosting a public consultation session Wednesday to hear opinions before moving on an updated secondary plan.
Though registration for the public information session is closed, residents can still provide input on the county’s Have Your Say webpage.
