Theft
On May 7, 2021, police were called to an east end business regarding a theft from a vending machine. Police received information that at 12:20 a.m., two suspects gained access to the business and then stole product cards from a vending machine and left in a blue Hyundai Elantra. Breach of Release Conditions
On May 7, 2021, police were on general patrol in the area of North Front St. and Harriet St. when an officer conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed that the driver was on release conditions not to be outside his residence without his surety. As a result, 30-year-old Christopher Dunkley was arrested for Failing to Comply with a release order. He was released on an undertaking and provided a court date on June 3, 2021.
Suspicious Incident
On May 7, 2021 at 10:53 p.m., police were called to a west end residential area regarding three males peering into a vehicle. When the owner of the vehicle yelled at the males to question what they were doing, the males ran to a dark coloured SUV and left the area prior to police arrival. A patrol of the area produced negative results. No entry or damage was caused to the complainant’s vehicle.
