April was a rebound month for planned construction projects in the Municipality of Brighton.
A total of 31 building permits were issued last month in Brighton with a construction value of just over $10 million.
In April of last year, as the COVID-19 pandemic was getting underway, only four permits were issued with a value of a little over $1 million.
Most of the $10 million construction value booked last month was for residential units.
Permits were issued for 11 single family homes and three semi-detached houses.
