This upcoming weekend would normally be the weekend that boats would be going into the water at Victoria Harbour, but not in 2021.
The Bay of Quinte Yacht Club has announced they will be delaying the launching of boats, due to COVID-19.
Past Commodore Steve Macklin tells Quinte News they will not be getting the crane out and launching boats until the province has lifted the Stay-At-Home order.
He says as it stands they are looking to launch the weekend of May 28, 29, and 30.
Macklin added that private marinas are able to launch boats, but users are not able to go boating.
