Officials at Loyalist College say another member of the college community has tested positive for COVID-19 since the last update on April 14.
A letter from Loyalist President Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan says the person was on campus during their infectious period, but their transmission didn’t happen while at the college and any people who may have been in contact with that person have already been contacted by HPE Public Health and are now self-isolating.
Dr. Vaughan says the risk to the campus is considered to be low, with disinfecting and other cleaning and protection measures taking place.
Loyalist remains open to those who have approval to be on campus, with continued health and safety precautions in place.
