Contract talks between the Kawartha Pine Ridge School Board and the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario have broken down.
Local ET-FO President Dave Wing says they’re back to where they started after two more days of negotiations with the board.
He says no future dates have been set for talks, and the two sides aren’t close to a deal, because the union says the board won’t discuss local issues.
April 24th is the deadline for a contract settlement under the provincial framework reached in February.
