There should be extra room on the bus as the Belleville Senators make their first trip of the season to the Coca Cola coliseum in Toronto.
After back to back wins over the Marlies last weekend in Ottawa the teams will meet for the third straight time tonight.
Belleville will have just nine forwards and 7 defencemen available for the game. Alex Formenton and Vitaly Abramov are with the NHL’s Ottawa Senators. Formenton will make his season debut against the Calgary Flames tonight. Logan Brown and Jonathan Davidsson are injured.
Kevin Mandolese, who backstopped the B-Sens win over Toronto on Friday will start for Belleville tonight.
Belleville is in fifth place in the American Hockey League’s North Division with a 4-8 record. The B-Sens trail the fourth place Marlies by 7 points but hold four games in hand.
Following tonight’s game Belleville returns to Ottawa’s Candian Tire Centre to host the Stockton Heat (Calgary Flames) Friday night and Saturday afternoon (broadcast on CJBQ) before embarking on a two week 7 game road trip to Winnipeg and Calgary.
