A Quinte West youth is facing several charges following an incident in Bancroft on Saturday.
Bancroft OPP say a vehicle failed to stop for police who were attempting a traffic stop on Hastings Street North just before noon.
The driver was later located by officers and arrested.
A 17-year-old of Quinte West is charged with flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, operation while prohibited, driving without insurance, driving while under suspension and using an unauthorized plate.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing in Belleville on Monday.
