A man lost his hand in an accident in rural Quinte West Saturday afternoon.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whalen says the man, in his 40s, was working with a wood chipper when the mishap occurred at around 2:45.
The incident occurred in a wooded area around Deer Run and Crowe roads northwest of Frankford.
The man was rushed to hospital in Kingston.
