Belleville Council will see the list of top-earning municipal workers at its meeting on Monday.
A report from Director of Finance Carol Hinze outlines the 167 municipal employees who earned more than $100,000 in 2020, also known as the “Sunshine List”.
Seventy-five of those employees are police officers, 56 are firefighters and 36 work in other municipal departments, including the Belleville Public Library.
The top three earners last year were former Police Chief Ron Gignac at just over $207,000, CAO Rod Bovay at just over $190,000 and Former CAO Rick Kester, at just under $190,000.
Outgoing Fire Chief Mark MacDonald made about $168,000.
The number of employees who made the list in 2020 was up from 2019, when 159 members of city staff earned at least $100,000.
