A new commercial/condominium building is taking shape near the downtown district.
Construction is well underway on a six-storey building along Dundas West at James Street (2 Dundas Street West).
Building owner Shahid Mohammed tells Quinte News that the first floor will include a walk-in clinic, doctor’s office, physiotherapist office, and a pharmacy. He says the next five floors will be condo units.
He says it is the first of four buildings that will be part of the Harbour District Project. The other three buildings will be along the corner of Coleman Street and Dundas. Completion of the building is expected this fall.
Mohammed added he will be constructing a 95-unit building adjacent to Amica Quinte Gardens on College Street West, near North Front Street. More details are expected on that project in the coming months.
