Two people have been charged with impaired driving in connection to incidents in Quinte West this past weekend.
On Friday night, around 5:15 p.m., OPP responded to complaints of a potential impaired driver on King Drive in Frankford, eventually pulling the car over on Stockdale Road.
Officers believed the driver had been drinking and charged the 49 year-old woman with impaired driving and driving while suspended.
Then, around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, officers stopped a vehicle on Lorne Avenue in Trenton for a highway traffic act violation and again, believed the driver had been drinking.
The 21 year-old woman from Stone Mills Township was also charged, while her passenger was given a ticket for having open liquor in the car.
Both accused were released with future court dates, had their licences suspended for 90 days and their vehicles impounded for a week.
