Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported five new cases of COVID-19 Saturday along with a second outbreak.
The outbreak was at an unidentified workplace in Belleville and involves infections in four people. The other active outbreak is in Centre Hastings and involves two people.
All of Saturday’s confirmed cases were located in Belleville. No one is being treated in hospital at this time.
There are now 16 active cases in Hastings-Prince Edward.
Meanwhile, in Northumberland County, three new cases were confirmed Saturday leaving 22 active cases there.
