The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte are advising anyone who visited two locations on the Tyendinaga Territory over the last couple of weeks to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.
A press release states anyone who visited Fast Freddy’s on January 26, 27th or 28th or 49 Quik Stop on February 4th or 8th may have had a low risk exposure to COVID-19.
An individual who was in these establishments on these dates was exposed to a positive case of the virus.
People who visited these businesses on these days should self-monitor and seek testing if they develop symptoms, even if they are mild.
Anyone who has been identified as a high risk contact has been contacted by a community health nurse.
There are currently three cases of the virus on the Territory.
All three people are self-isolating.
