Warrant Arrest
On February 6, 2021 at 8:30 a.m., Belleville Police were called to a north end business regarding a male who was known to be on court conditions not to be at that business. Officers located the male and determined that there was a warrant for his arrest on outstanding theft charges. The male was then found to be in possession of more stolen property from the business. As a result, the 33-year-old Belleville resident was additionally charged with possession of stolen property and breaching his release conditions. He is being held for a bail hearing on February 7, 2021.
Disturbance
On February 6, 2021 at 3:30 p.m., Belleville Police were called to an address in the east end of the city regarding a disturbance inside a residence. Officers attended and learned that one of the involved persons had left the residence. It was determined that the male who had left was currently on conditions not to be at the residence or have contact with the occupant. Officers located and arrested the male at his residence. As result the 28-year-old Belleville resident was charged with two counts of breaching his release order and uttering threats. He was held for a bail hearing on February 7, 2021.
