People knowing how to use fire extinguishers saved a large service truck from being destroyed after it caught fire yesterday in Belleville.
Firefighters responded to Cannifton Garage on Putnam Industrial Road around 8:30 in the morning to find the truck filled with smoke.
The fire was put out quickly but it was employees using fire extinguishers before firefighters arrived that saved the truck.
Two employees were taken to Belleville General Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
