Centre Hastings and Madoc Township firefighters dealt with a stubborn fire at a business in Madoc late yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
Crews were called to B/Y Automotive on Hill Avenue just after 5 o’clock when a storage shed was reported on fire.
The shed had tires and welding gas inside it.
According to scanner monitor Scan-Quinte the fire was declared under control around 9:20.
No one was injured. A damage estimate is not available and the cause remains under investigation.
