The President of Quinte Health Care has been impressed with the dedication and hard work of QHC’s staff and leadership.
Stacey Daub told the Board of Directors Tuesday that plans are in place to allow more beds for COVID-19 patients, and to be able to vaccinate all QHC staff and patients when vaccines arrive.
“I feel confident that no matter what the unpredictable future of COVID is in this province we are as well prepared as we possibly can be.”
Extra patient capacity is set to go at each of QHC’s four hospitals should there be a surge in patients although at this point in time beds are available in general medicine and intensive care, and emergency room volumes haven’t been high.
