Centre Hastings council has passed its 2021 budget and it features the lowest tax levy increase in the past five years.
Property taxes on the average house worth $209,000 in Centre Hastings will go up 2.58% this year, adding $76 a year to the local tax bill.
Council also approved a $2.1 million capital budget with $1.3 million going toward roadwork and water/sewer projects.
Another $315,000 is slated for bridge rehabilitation.
