The Quinte West Detachment of the OPP is investigating a break and enter at a local business.
On January 23, 2021, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Quinte West OPP, with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Services, began an investigation at the business on Trenton Street, in Quinte West.
The suspect(s) broke in sometime between 6:00 p.m. on January 22 and 9:30 a.m. on January 23, 2021, and stole a large quantity of cigarettes, lotto tickets, knives and food items.
On January 20, 2021, Quinte West OPP attended the same business for a break and enter where cartons of cigarettes, a backpack and an undisclosed amount of cash were stolen.
Both investigations are continuing. Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible is requested to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.
