The Belleville Police Service responded to 41 calls for service from January 24, 2021 at 5 a.m. to January 25, 2021 at 5 a.m.
Warrant
On January 24, 2021 at 4 p.m., police attended the area of Harvey Street in regards to an adult male wanted on an outstanding warrant. Police located the suspect and took him into custody transporting him to the Belleville Police Service where he was held in custody.
The accused, 58-year-old Robert Rowe of Belleville is charged with the following offences;
- Possession of Weapons for a Dangerous Purpose
- Assault with a Weapon
- Criminal Harassment (2 counts)
- Mischief (3 counts)
The accused is scheduled to attend a Show Cause Hearing on January 25, 2021 to answer to his charges.
Break & Enter
Belleville Police responded to an alarm at a business along Bell Blvd. Upon arrival, officers found the front door to the business smashed out and police believe that the suspect(s) took off with the cash register. Belleville Police K9 attended the scene to attempt to determine if the suspect(s) could be tracked.
