Some prowling and mischief has been halted by Belleville Police in the city’s east end.
Police responded to a call of prowling around 4:30 Saturday morning…near the intersection College Street East and Prince of Wales Drive.
Reports also indicated car windows in the area had been smashed and property from those vehicles, stolen.
When officers arrived on the scene, the suspects ran away and the officers gave chase, arresting both men.
Charged with mischief, theft and possession of stolen property is a 19-year-old Belleville man.
Charged with three counts of mischief, theft, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest, breach of probation and two counts of assaulting police is a 20-year-old Napanee man.
