Break, Enter & Mischief
On January 23, 2021 at 6 p.m., Belleville police were dispatched to a residence in the southeast end regarding two suspects breaking into the house through a side door. Police arrived on scene to catch the suspects in the act. The suspects were found to be two young people, a female and a male who were already reported to police as missing youth.
The 16-year-old male was charged with one count of Break, Enter and Mischief Under $5000 and the 14-year-old female was charged with one count of Break & Enter. Both youths were released into the custody their parents and will attend court on February 16, 2021 to answer to their charges.
Breach of Probation
On January 23, 2021 at 11:0 p.m., police conducted a vehicle stop on Cannifton Road with regards to some traffic act violations. The investigative revealed that the driver was in breach of one of his court probation orders. The accused was arrested and transported back to the Belleville Police Service.
The accused, a 26-year-old Belleville man was charged with the following criminal and provincial offences;
- Breach of Probation
- Driver Operate Motor Vehicle without a Licence
- Owner Operate Motor Vehicle with No Insurance
The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on January 24, 2021 for a Show Cause Hearing to answer to his charges.
