A Belleville business owner has been handed a court summons after opening his shop against provincial regulations.
Park Provisioners owner Kyle Thomson tells Quinte News HPE Public Health Enforcement Officers and Belleville Police returned to his Front Street shop on Thursday morning giving him a notice to appear in Provincial Offences Court on March 1, 2021.
Thomson, who was fined $750 on Wednesday, tells Quinte News he plans to stay open, but would like to see more focus put on other downtown businesses who are still closed because of Ontario’s lockdown restrictions.
