Students in the Hastings and Prince Edward District School board are among the many who will head back to classrooms Monday.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Education Wednesday, it was announced that students in school boards that fall under seven public health units would return to class.
Among the school districts returning to school are Hastings Prince Edward District School Board and Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School board.
The full list of school boards returning to school is:
· Limestone District School Board
· Renfrew County District School Board
· Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board
· Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board
· Renfrew County Catholic District School Board
· Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board
· Bluewater District School Board
School districts that span across multiple public health units including Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board may have some schools that aren’t opening. The local public health unit should be contacted for clarification.
