Brighton council wants to help keep residents aware of the sacrifices being made by frontline health care workers as they continue to work hard during this second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.
After seeing a letter from the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation describing situations of low morale amongst hospital and long term care workers due to exhaustion and stress, council agreed to have a large banner made in support of the workers.
It will be placed outside Brighton’s municipal offices. Also, the electronic sign outside King Edward Park arena will display messages of support.
