The Belleville Police responded to 58 calls for service between January 18, 2021 at 5 a.m. and January 19, 20221 at 5 a.m.
Breach of Release Condition
On January 18, 2021 at 6:15 p.m., officers attended an address on Bridge St West in regards to an unwanted person. Upon arrival, police spoke to a 51-year-old Belleville male. A records check indicated that he was breaching a condition of his probation by communicating with the female complainant, and he was breaching a condition of his judicial release by interacting with the same female. He was arrested and held for a bail hearing on January 19, 2021.
Arrest on Warrant
On January 18, 2021 at 8 p.m., Belleville Police received a call from the Picton OPP regarding a female in custody. They had Kristine Wendling, a 32-year-old Picton woman in custody on a Belleville warrant for breach of probation. Belleville Police attended Prince Edward County, and transported Wendling to Belleville where she was held for a bail hearing on January 19, 2021.
