Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole says he has begun the process of removing Hastings Lennox and Addington MP Derek Sloan from the party.
In a statement you can read below, O’Toole is condemning Sloan for accepting a donation from “a well known white supremacist”.
O’Toole says he will not allow Sloan to run as a candidate in the next election.
Sloan was acclaimed as the HLA candidate in December.
According to an article written by CBC, a man by the name Frederick P. Fromm donated $131 to Sloan last August, while Sloan was running for leadership of the Conservative Party. The article indicates that Fromm is the person about whom the allegations refer.
