A North end Belleville homeowner will have to repair their fence following an incident involving an alleged drunk driver.
Belleville police say officers noticed an erratic driver on North Front Street around 3:10 this morning (SUN).
When police pursued the vehicle, the driver deaked into a nearby driveway, smashing the property owner’s fence in the process.
Police arrested the driver and took him to the police station for a breathalyzer test.
A 23-year-old Hastings man is charged with impaired driving and was given a May court date.
