Attempt Fraud Charges
On January 12, 2021 at 7:30 p.m., police responded to a business on Dundas Street East regarding a prescription fraud. On arrival, police conducted an investigation that revealed the suspect male was from out of town attempting to fill fraudulent prescriptions for narcotics. The 24-year-old male was arrested on scene for Attempt Fraud. The male was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he is being held for bail.
Motor Vehicle Collision
On January 12, 2021 at 8:40 a.m., police responded to the area of Moira Street West and Yeomans Street regarding a two-vehicle collision. There were no injuries reported although both vehicles sustained significant damage. The at fault driver was charged with Fail to Stop at Stop Sign under the Highway Traffic Act and issued a Provincial Offences Notice.
