There were five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Hastings and Prince Edward counties Sunday.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health also reported that five people had recovered leaving 28 active infections in the two counties.
Of the five new cases, four were located in Belleville and one in Quinte West.
Three people are being treated in hospital, one in the Intensive Care Unit.
An outbreak, declared Friday, continues at Hastings Manor Beech Villa (secure wing).
Meanwhile an update for Northumberland County wasn’t provided Sunday. Three new cases were reported there Saturday.
