The addition of a pet cemetery in Picton is one of the topics to be discussed at tomorrow night’s meeting of Prince Edward County council.
The cemetery advisory committee is bringing forth the idea of adding a burial ground for pets beside Glenwood Cemetery.
For some years now there’s been an increase in demand for pet cemeteries to be set up across the province. Pet cemeteries are often seen as revenue opportunities for entire cemeteries.
The report suggests setting up a website to collect donations to go towards the project.
