There were three new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Hastings Prince Edward today, along with three recoveries.
The HPE Public Health Dashboard shows the total number of active cases at 33, the same as it was on Tuesday.
The transmission cause for all three new cases is pending, with one of those cases found in Prince Edward County and two in Belleville.
One case was found in a man within the 30 to 39 age group, with the other cases found in a man and a woman, who are both within the 70 and over age group.
There are currently two people in hospital with COVID-19 and no ongoing outbreaks.
The seven day case rate per 100,000 people remains at 22, which would keep the area in the yellow zone of Ontario’s COVID-19 Response Framework, if the lockdown wasn’t in place.
Meanwhile in Northumberland County, the HKPR Health Unit Dashboard shows two new cases and 32 active, meaning 11 people have recovered since the last report.
