An investigation continues into the cause of a fire that heavily damaged a vacant house and a former
gas station/convenience store operation in the village of Stirling early Saturday.
Stirling-Rawdon firefighters were called out shortly before 2 o’clock in the morning after both structures were reported on fire.
They stand side by side on West Front Street in Stirling.
Fire Chief Derrick Little says over half a million dollars damage was caused but there were no injuries.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is helping with the investigation.
