COVID-19 did not take a break for the holidays in the Quinte region.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported 15 new coronavirus infections today (Saturday).
Seven of the infections were in Quinte West, five in Belleville, and two in Prince Edward County.
There are now 35 active cases and a total of 296 since the pandemic began.
Meanwhile 21 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Northumberland County today leaving 33 active cases there.
