A freezing rain warning has been issued by Environment Canada for our listening region.
Moderate to heavy snow is expected early this morning (Saturday) as a low pressure system moves off to the east. We are expected to be hit with up to 10 cm of snow in Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County and Northumberland County.
This snowfall may result in difficult winter driving conditions as roads can become snow covered and icy.
Conditions are expected to improve late this morning as snow is expected to end near mid morning.
Take caution on the roads this morning.
