There were more recoveries than new positive cases of COVID-19 reported in both Hastings Prince Edward and Northumberland counties today.
The HPE Public Health Dashboard shows four new cases and 19 active, which means seven people have recovered since yesterday’s report.
Three of four new cases were transmitted through close contact, while the fourth transmission cause is pending.
Two of the new cases are in Quinte West, with one each in Belleville and North Hastings.
The weekly seven day case rate per 100,000 people has inched up to 11.9, with the seven day case positive rate also bumping up slightly to 1.2%.
In Northumberland County, the HKPR Health Unit Dashboard shows just one new case, with a total of 14 active, meaning six people have recovered there.
