There was a fire Wednesday morning at the Goodyear Plant in Napanee.
Around 8:45 a.m., emergency crews responded to the tire manufacturer after a blaze was reported in the ceiling.
When crews arrived, they doused flames and smoke.
Scanner monitor Scan Quinte reports welding could be to blame for the fire. They added that a substantial hole was cut into the roof to gain access.
It is believed the scene is under control and more details are expected later Wednesday.
