There are eight new cases of COVID-19 being reported in Hastings-Prince Edward today.
The HPE Public Health Dashboard shows a total of 22 active cases in the area, which means four people have been listed as “recovered” since Monday’s update.
Of the eight new cases, four are in Belleville and four are in Quinte West, with the transmission cause of four cases linked to close contact and the transmission of the other four listed as pending.
There is one ongoing outbreak, still attributed to four cases at the Wellington Legion.
The rolling seven day case rate of per 100,000 people is 9.5, with a seven day positivity rate average of 0.9%.
In Northumberland County, the HKPR Health Unit Dashboard shows five new cases and 19 active, which means there have been seven recoveries there since Monday.
