There were seven new cases of COVID-19 reported in Northumberland County Saturday.
The new cases bring the active total cases there to 36. There have been six new recoveries since the numbers were updated on Christmas eve.
The Hastings Prince Edward Public Health Unit has not updated statistics since Christmas Eve as the health unit’s website states it would not be updating numbers on Christmas day, Boxing day or New Year’s day.
The next update for Hastings Prince Edward will come at 2 p.m. Sunday.
