Stirling-Rawdon has put out its protocols for the upcoming Ontario-wide lockdown, which goes into effect on Boxing Day.
While the lobby of the municipal office lobby will be open, since it has protective barriers to separate staff and the public, residents are being encouraged to use the outside drop box rather than going inside.
Council meetings will continue to be live streamed on the Stirling-Rawdon Facebook page, with the Stirling-Rawdon Recreation Centre and library both being closed, although the library will continue to offer curbside pick-up.
Outdoor spaces and the landfill will be open, but anyone using those facilities should practice proper social distancing and make sure to wear a mask when social distancing can’t be maintained.
If you need more information you can call the municipal office, or click here to visit the Stirling-Rawdon website.
