More housing development is in the works for Belleville’s west end.
At its January 4 meeting, Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee will see an application to rezone 10.5 hectares of land to expand the Potter’s Creek subdivision.
The land is east of Avonlough Road, west of Avondale Road and north of Aldersgate Drive.
If approved, the development would include 82 single-family homes, 14 one-storey townhouses, and three 55-unit four-storey apartment buildings for a total of 165 apartments.
No decision will be made at the January 4 meeting but public input will be accepted.
