In response to Premier Ford’s announcement yesterday mandating a provincial shutdown, the City of Quinte West is taking action to protect residents and staff.
Starting Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, City Hall and the Frankford Municipal office will be closed to the public. Residents are encouraged to visit quintewest.ca for information about online payment options. City business will be available by email and telephone. If you must pay by cash or cheque, there are drop boxes available at City Hall and the Frankford Municipal Office.
The following buildings will also be closed to the public:

The Quinte West Public Library locations in Trenton and Frankford

Refunds will be issued for all cancelled bookings. Burn permits can be purchased and issued using our online portal: qw.burnpermits.com/.
Some building and licencing services will be available in-person by appointment. Please call ahead or use our website to book appointments.
All closures will be in effect until Jan. 25, 2021.
“We need to do everything we can to stop the spread of COVID-19,” says Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison. “During this time, we will do everything we can to make sure residents have access to the great municipal services they are accustomed to.”
